About me

My name is Simon Benzer and I am a QA/Full-Stack Software Engineer. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Computer Science and a concentration in Physics. I am currently employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer at FivePoint Solutions, a Versaterm company. In this position, I built and manage the company's multiple automated testing suites from the ground-up.

In my spare time, I am pursuing a Master's Degree from Georgia Tech in Computer Science, in which I am specializing in Artificial Intelligence — I am currently taking Game AI and Video Game Design.

When I'm not working or studying, I like to spend time with my fiancée, Sarah, doing everything from hiking to reading to watching reality T.V., playing with my cat Dinah (named after the cat from Alice in Wonderland, my favorite movie growing up), reading books (currently making my way through Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive), collecting whiskey (my decanter is currently full of Pikesville Rye), and contributing to open-source projects (e.g. Selenium).
